AlternateReader is an open source software to read PDF as well as Djvu files on Sysmbian S60 mobile phones. Although it not perfect software but possibly one of the best free solution available. On some models, there may be a slow job of scaling or files can be browsed through some slower than others.

For Symbian 9.1-9.2, you must first install the libraries PIPS, this requires affirmative answer to the questions during the program installation. To all questions during the installation answer in the affirmative (including if the application is not compatible with the phone). AlternateDjvuRecog.sis is a special application to djvu file associations with the program, after installation, a reboot is required!
