How to disable annoying Firefox download progress dialog
Many times you find Firefox Download Manager dialog annoying when you are downloading files one by one and it keeps notifying about the download by poping up in front of the screen.
You can hide this dialog and let the download progress in the background. Still you can access the download dialog from the Tools->Downloads menu or double click the statusbar if download is in progress.
Follow below steps to disable Download Dialog:
- Type about:config in the addressbar
- Filter the list with download keyword (see the image below)
- Look for "browser.download.manager.useWindow". if the value beside is true just double click it to make false.
